RIFLE RANGE RULES
Shotgun Use
For shotgun shooting, use the Rifle Range only.  There are paper target stands in place.  Paper plates and index cards make for great targets.  Don't forget to bring a staple gun or adhesive spray.  Do not shoot steel any closer than 50 yards with a shotgun (EXCLUDES any rifle other than shotgun).
Steel must be shot NO CLOSER than 100 yards with a rifle.  From the shelter to the steel targets is 100 yards.  This is for your safety.  The steel targets are not rated to be shot any closer than listed.
Approaching the Targets
On rifle range, stand red "DO NOT SHOOT" sign up when going downrange and action or bolt must be open and gun must be unloaded.  For further clarification on this, contact us.

Transporting Rifle
Keep rifle slung or in a case when walking to and from rifle range shelter.
Moving and Shooting
Moving and transitioning from rifle to pistol are permitted on the rifle range- only at the stationary paper targets that are placed at the backstop.  This is only permitted if you are using the range alone.  If another member enters to shoot, you must work together.
Pistols on Rifle Range
Pistols on the rifle range are permitted but do not shoot steel with a pistol any closer than 10 yards.
PISTOL PITS RULES
Pistols Only
No long guns permitted for use on pistol pits.  Pistol Caliber Carbines are allowed on the pistol ranges and can be shot at steel 10 yards or further.  Please notify management during check-in that you will be using a PCC during your range session.
Stay 10 yards away from steel while firing with a pistol.  This if for YOUR safety and the safety of the other members.
Holster Use
Our range is a HOT range.  This means that you may have your gun loaded at any time but must remain HOLSTERED until you are on the firing line.  Soft-sided holsters not recommended.

Non-Holstered Pistols
If you are shooting a gun without a holster, gun must be unloaded with the action open when moving to and from the firing line.  Gun should only be loaded and unloaded at the firing line with the muzzle pointed in a safe direction.
If these rules are not followed, your membership could be revoked.
