Member Rules of the Range
4 Safety Rules
Must be followed at ALL times
  • Treat all guns as if they are loaded.
  • Know your target and what is beyond. 
  • Never point your gun at anything you aren't willing to destroy/kill/mutilate (including yourself).
  • Keep your finger off the trigger until the target is clearly in your sights and you have made a conscious decision to shoot. 
GENERAL INFORMATION
Hours
Range Hours are from 9am-9pm 7 days per week/365 days. Unlimited range use for members.

Access System
You will receive an email right away to schedule a time to pick up your key fob so that you can access our gate.
Gate 
Each primary member must scan their fob before entering the gate.
Hygiene & Etiquette
No eating, smoking, or chewing tobacco on the range.

DO NOT arrive under the influence of alcohol or drugs or consume them on the property.

Be respectful of all members and students at all times.

Do not take videos or pictures  of other members without permission.
Targets
You may spray paint the steel any color you'd like.

Paper target stands are provided, however, paper targets are not.  Bring your own paper targets as well as either a staple gun or adhesive spray.


Vehicles
No vehicles permitted on the rifle range or pistol pits.  If we are available to help you down with the Mule, we will be happy to assist you.
Ammunition 
NO tracer rounds, armor piercing rounds and no steel core ammo permitted.  Rounds larger than .308 caliber NOT permitted for steel targets.
Discounts
As a member, you receive a 25% discount on any in-house Impact classes and private training.
Eye and Ear Protection
Eye and Ear Protection is mandatory at all times beyond the gate.
Guest Policy
There is a strict NO GUEST POLICY on our range.  You MUST be a member to use the range.  However, our courses and private instruction are open to the public.
Clean Up
Members must clean up after themselves.  Trash receptacles are provided on the ranges.  
RSO
EVERYONE is a Range Safety Officer.  If you see someone being unsafe, let them know and contact management ASAP.
Restrooms
There is a porta-potty located at the entrance to the range for your convenience.  
RIFLE RANGE RULES
Transporting Rifle
Keep rifle slung or in a case when walking to and from rifle range.
Steel
Steel must be shot NO CLOSER than the benches/tables of Bay 1 with a rifle (100 yards).
Range Hot/Cold Flags on Bay 1

Place red flag in cone when the range is HOT.

Place green flag in cone when range is cold or inactive or a cease fire has been called.

When anyone calls cease fire/cold/inactive range and green flag is in place, all shooters are to make their firearms SAFE, remove magazine, open action/bolt and not handle firearms until red flag is placed in the cone signifying the range is HOT.

Shotgun Use
For shotgun shooting, use the Rifle Range only.  There are paper target stands in place.  Paper plates and index cards make for great targets.  Don't forget to bring a staple gun or adhesive spray.  Do not shoot steel any closer than 50 yards with a shotgun (EXCLUDES any rifle other than shotgun). 
Moving and Shooting on Bay 1
Moving and transitioning from rifle to pistol is permitted in Bay 1 -  at the stationary paper targets that are placed at the backstop ONLY. This is only permitted if you are using the range alone.  If another member enters to shoot, you must work together and shoot from the firing line.
Moving and Shooting on Bay 2
You can move and shoot on Bay 2.  This bay is first come, first served.  
Downrange After Dark
For safety, when moving downrange after dark, please wear a glow stick or have a light turned on and with you so that approaching members can see your position downrange.
Pistols on Rifle Range
Pistols on the rifle range are permitted but do not shoot steel with a pistol any closer than 10 yards.
PISTOL PITS RULES
Pistols Only
No long guns permitted for use on pistol pits.  Pistol Caliber Carbines are allowed on the pistol ranges and can be shot at steel 10 yards or further.  Please notify management during check-in that you will be using a PCC during your range session.
Steel
Stay 10 yards away from steel while firing with a pistol.  This if for YOUR safety and the safety of the other members.
Holster Use
Impact Shooting Center is a HOT range.  This means that you may have your gun loaded at any time but must remain HOLSTERED until you are on the firing line.  Soft-sided holsters not recommended.

Non-Holstered Pistols
If you are shooting a gun without a holster, gun must be unloaded with the action open when moving to and from the firing line.  Gun should only be loaded and unloaded at the firing line with the muzzle pointed in a safe direction.
.22 Rifles
Children (under 18) ARE permitted to use .22 caliber rifles on the pistol pits.
Rearranging Targets
Targets can be rearranged in the classroom pit only (last pit).  All other targets in other pits can not be moved around.
If these rules are not followed, your membership could be revoked.
